How to create a QR menu
Step-by-step guide: store, content set, QR menu and placement — then categories, items, tables, waitstaff and your own domain.
How it works
Below is the recommended order. Each stage can be done separately: store, content and QR menu are stored in the library — save and continue later. Add categories, items, tables, waitstaff and your domain when it suits you.
-
Sign up: Sign up and open the QR Menu section in your dashboard — then follow the steps below in order or one at a time.
-
Store: Create a store profile in the library or directly in the QR menu wizard.
-
Menu content: Create a content set in Menu content — you will add categories and dishes later. One set is linked to one QR menu.
-
QR menu: Build the QR menu via Create QR menu (full wizard) or Create in My QR menus: you need a store profile and content set; the rest can be filled in later.
-
Download and placement: Download the QR code and place it in the dining room — you can do this right away, without waiting for a full menu.
-
Categories: Add catalogs and sections — before launch or later, whenever it suits you.
-
Items: Fill in dishes with photos and prices — you can add more anytime.
-
Tables: If needed, enable orders, add tables and download QRs for tables.
-
Waitstaff: Invite waiters and assign them to tables — when you need call-from-menu.
-
Custom domain: Connect your own hostname for the menu and short URL — optional, anytime.
